What data do we collect:

The information we collect includes but is not limited to the following:
•  Phone numbers
•  Email addresses
•  Names
•  CVs
•  Job specifications / descriptions
•  Salary and package information
•  Employment details 

What do we use this data for:

Candidates – Ambiris get this data to help us pair you up with existing roles that we have or to contact companies and clients to advise that you are on the market and looking for a position, please be advised that when this contact is made that name, contact details and personal information is not given until you have given us permission to send this.

Clients – Ambiris use the information that you give us to headhunt for candidates that fit the descriptions that you have given us to find and will only start to search for any candidates for you once you have given permission for us to start working on filling this vacancy for you. 

When would we share this data and who do we share data with: 

The data that Ambiris collect will only be shared once whom the data belongs to gives us permission to send the personal data across either verbally, via email or through confirmation via text or other messaging services. How this works in practice is that no consultant will send the personal information of a candidate to a client until the candidate has given specific permission for us to be able to send their information across. Alternatively, as a client your data such as the company name or who you are will only be shared with a client if you have given us permission to share this. At this moment in time no personal information is shared with third parties how this may change in the future. 

How do we store this data: 

All data taken is stored within secure computers that are protected with market leading anti-virus software. Should anything be written down on paper we require this to be shredded before disposing of to ensure extra security that personal information is kept safe. 

Where do we get this data from: 

The data that we source from candidates and clients are sourced from a variety of ways including Linkedin, Job boards, other public sites (such as company websites), information given via email or from email signatures and third-party directories. In addition to this we receive further data verbally through conversations that our consultants have with both candidates and clients. 

How to access or delete your data: 

Should you wish for Ambiris to stop retaining your data, you can contact us via the email address on the website or the contact us form with a request to delete your data and all information which we have regarding you will be deleted from our systems. In addition to this if you send an email to Ambiris requesting that you see what data we have for you we will send you an email outlying all of the data we have on file for you and where we have accessed this from. Please be advised that Ambiris are not in control of what personal information may exist for you on LinkedIn, job boards or other sites, due to this we cannot guarantee that if this information is available on other sites that it will not come back onto our system at some point. 

How long do we retain your data: 

Ambiris Ltd reserve the right to retain the data from any candidate or client for 5 years. Should we have your data on file for over 5 years since our last contact from you Ambiris will reach out directly to ask if you would like your details to remain on file and should you wish for these details to be kept on file Ambiris renew the process and keep your details for a further 5 years. Alternatively, should you wish to delete your details or if you do not respond to Ambiris’s attempts to contact you with 31 days your details will be automatically deleted. 

Cookies:

At this moment in time Ambiris Ltd does not have cookies on the website and does not use cookies in anyway. This may change in the change however once this change has been made this section of the privacy policy will be updated.
